Affiliate Marketing Alert - I was Frauded by BLM Quantum & Quantum-Media www.blmquantum.co.uk Through Commission Junction

I need to write about this because it was the first time anything like this has ever happened to me.

BLM Quantum, also known as Quantum-Media & www.blmquantum.co.uk pushed me over the edge with something horrible that has happened to me.

They claim to be a respectful media agency and they had an affiliate marketing campaign they were managing for a UK based merchant through Commission Junction .

I decided to give them a shot and I had a landing page designed for me from somebody on Digital Point who I have used before to help build my landing pages when I don’t have the time to do it myself.  The niche of the campaign is a niche that I have been running for a year and a half now and I mistakenly misread their TOS and bid on trademarked keywords.  Some companies allow it, some don’t. I had an oversight and I made a mistake and stopped running the campaign BEFORE they even noticed.

I called CJ & then instructed me to call the advertiser and tell them what happened.  I called the advertiser in England and was told that the guy in charge was on vacation and I explained to them what happened and that i realized too late and it would not happen again and also gave my apologies.

After 2 weeks of waiting I received an email from the person in charge and he told me that they would not pay me.  We went back and forth for weeks about it and still he said they will not pay me.  Both Quantum-Media and the merchant made almost 4k in sales from the leads I generated for them. My commission was supposed to be close to 1k.  They shipped the items and gained customers from MY work and still denied my payment.

They tried to claim that my website had copied logos from another website.. What is wrong with that if it does not say in the TOS that it is now allowed?  I already got a refund from the jerk I hired to design the landing page for me for copying things that were supposed to be original and what I paid for.

The one time this happened and I made a mistake, I still got my payment and was allowed to keep working with them because i apologized.  Now i find this sick company trying to rip me off because they want to be greedy and not pay me for making a simple mistake the I noticed myself and apologized to before they even noticed.  UNETHICAL

I know it states in the TOS of CJ that they do not HAVE to pay me.. But they SHOULD pay me. That is the problem and that is the reason for this post. Do not do business with this company.  If a company is going to be unethical and rip me off over close to 1k, then be careful that they do not do it to you and screw you out of more money.

I have a lawyer in the family who deals in transnational law and will be taking them through the grinder on this.  Even if i do not have a stance and they want to rip me off, the cost to them in legal fees will be worth more than what they owe me when I am done fighting for what is owed to me.

I have friends that have been screwed out of a hell of a lot more and was taught to fight until you get what is right.  It is not fair that they can walk all over affiliates like this and it seems to be the case that CJ does not care or do anything to help their affiliates when they need it.  They just call themselves the middle man.  How SAD is it that these companies can get away with this.
