Delay Delay! – New Version Of Firefly!

I have been so busy the past few weeks. Jon and I had to go out to St. Louis to take care of some things for the house we are buying.

We have pushed the moving date off until the second week of August as Affiliate Summit East is in Boston. This way we don’t have to fly back for it and I don’t have to find a kennel for Legend.

Yesterday I went in to the studio and Joe and I worked on the COMPLETE version of FireFly and it is AWESOME.

It has a full band to it. I may go in and redo the vocals in a week or 2 but I am not 100% sure yet.

Providence RI Gay Pride Performance 2008 – Aden Mott

Yesterday was one of the greatest days of my life. Thank you to everybody who came to see my performance and MAJOR thanks to Will Nadeau, Brendan Glasson & Josh Carrigan. If it were not for you guys, the show would not have rocked and I am so glad to have you guys as friends. Brendan, your music is amazing and I am so glad to have became friends with you! I want to give a shout out to Tom Goss, It was great hanging out with you and your music is excellent. Next I need to give a should out to Tiffany , you are such a sweetheart, I will always love your music and cant wait until we meet again.

There are photos below from the show. Most of them are my performance shots, but there are 3 of Tiffany & I as well as a few of me with Tom Goss. There is also a VERY short video clip, I will have some high quality videos for download next week, until then, enjoy! Thank you again to all of my family & friends who came and special thanks to Jon & Ami for dealing with my “needyness”. I love you guys!

Pride Rehearsal – Back Together Again Take 1

Will, Brendan & I did our first full rehearsal for Pride. This song is Back Together Again. I am opening with it Rocking out and closing with Citizen Of The Planet By Alanis Morissette’s new CD Flavors Of Entanglement which comes out TODAY but I have had it a little while and the song RULES. Firefly is complete

Yesterday was a sad day. I finished recording FireFly. When i was in the studio, my father called to say that my grandfather passed away when i was in the studio so i had to drive up there to say goodbye to him. He is not having a wake or funeral so I had to call the nursing home and tell them to not move the body until i got there. I got to say goodbye and then I helped the guy wheel him outside and into the back of a van. It was sad, but he was old and he will rest in peace. I love you grandpa. See you around

Firefly Begins

Firefly has begun. It will be completed on the 30th of this month. Its simple. Piano and Cello. Here is a video of Joe playing part of it on piano and the words are below. This week has been amazing. Productive, accomplished and amazing. I have not felt this good in months. Today we took it real easy and went shopping at Savers and some christian book store for jewelry. Had lunch in Warwick. Now time for some friends and cocktails.

Woah!!!!! Amazing!

Yesterday afternoon after i completed an amazing business transaction with my lawyer, I was in my kitchen singing and dancing around to the radio (which I only listen to when i am cooking). I was preparing my amazing vegan potato salad and along came something I had never heard before. I sat and listened and when i got 1 minute in, i found myself crying my eyes out. It made me so happy. It inspired me, it made me wish that i had written it. It describes EVERYTHING in my life right now and makes me realize that there is light at the end of the tunnel even when your not able to see it right now. It has not been released yet but i found a video ‘in the making’. Many people diss her, but her voice is unreal, even if she does not do all of the writing herself. Make sure you LISTEN to what is being said. Amazingness!

Practice Makes Perfect

I have been practicing my lessons for weeks. I got some amazing software that teaches you how to play piano. I took lessons years ago, for years and it faded away. But like riding a bike is comes right back to you with practice. I have a few other ones i will be playing for fun later on in the week or next week. My voice is off and the i screw up a few notes so do not be harsh on a newbie
