Earth Like Planet Found In Space

One thing that has always fascinated me is life on other planets.  I heard in the movie Contact once, “if we are the only life in the universe, wouldnt it be an awful waste of space”.   I think that someday there will be proof that we are not the only life in the universe, but probably not in my lifetime anyway.  The scientist who discovered the planet is Swiss scientist Michel Mayor.  You can read more about the discovery by visiting here and see a photo of it below
