Hello June!

Aden David & Adam

This pic was from Saturday. Got to see my awesome cousins.  The one in the middle is David, hes going to college in fall and it was his grad party.  The one on the far left is Adam who got his lip pierced and is growing so fast.  I dont get to see these guys too often so it was so nice and awesome to see the ‘small’ portion of the family i got to see, not everyone was there but i could not have asked for a better Saturday!  The rest of the pix are on my flicr page at http://www.flickr.com/photos/adenisgod

The video at the bottom is of little Andrew on the slip n slide, he is so adorable even when he choked on the water!! hehe.  Theres also clips from the car ride home on the video too, mostly of Legend, some of my cousin and his friend and one of me acting like a fag on the car ride home, enjoy! :)

The weekend is almost over, but i did get confirmation for June 16th, in Providence, playing downtown for Pride (before 2 american idol stars) so its kinda neat and im psyched.  LOTS of rehersal to do before then though but my ‘love’ got the day off from work so he is going to play piano and we MAY have a guitarist too, its going to turn out an amazing day i hope :)   Anyway, check out the vid and HAPPY JUNE!

Copeac – More Than Just An Affiliate Network

An aspiring internet marketer has a lot of choice when it comes down to the affiliate network they can promote.  Currently, there are hundreds of networks online, and many of them offer thousands of unique, high performing campaigns.  This is a great thing for an affiliate, as the competition among the networks for affiliates means that the payouts will always be rising, and the incentives will always keep coming.

I am writing again today about a network called Copeac, which is a relatively new player in the affiliate market.  Copeac is a small company, yet it has several hundred unique offers, with more being added every day.  On the outside, it seems to be pretty standard, offering the same bonuses and perks that many other affiliate networks offer. After some experience with them, however, it becomes obvious that they are much more than just an affiliate network.

Copeac offers support & I’m talking real support, not “fake” support. The affiliate manager that is assigned to you will always do their best to help you succeed. Ask them to create a list of the highest performing offers and they are happy to oblige; ask for some advice and they give it.

Whether you are a big or small affiliate is irrelevant- they will spend the time with you regardless.

Copeac is reliable & I have never had one late payment since I started promoting Copeac offers many months ago, and never have I had a check bounce or go NSF.  This may seem trivial, but anyone with some experience in the industry will tell you just how important it is.

Copeac is financially stable & Copeac has thousands of affiliates that generate millions of dollars every month in revenue.  You know that your checks will be paid on time, and in full, because you know that Copeac has the financial resources to do so.  I have heard many a story of Copeac paying their affiliates after the advertisers had refused payment.  If that isn’t dedication, I don’t know what is.

Though there are definitely larger players in the industry, Copeac offers the advantages of a big affiliate network with the personality and charm of a small one.  For someone who enjoys some one and one interaction with their affiliate manager, Copeac offers the best of both worlds.

As i said in a previous post, I made $2500 my first 2 weeks as a member with them. If you own a website and want a way to make money in affiliate marketing, all you need to do is sign up HERE

eBooks – What were they, anyway?

A few years ago something tragic happened to internet marketing: someone figured out that they could sell “get rich quick” eBooks.  These eBooks, which range in both quality and price, have sold like hot-cakes.  In fact, many entrepreneurs have made their living selling these eBooks- it has become a very lucrative market for both the authors as well as their affiliates.

These eBooks were both a scam and a life-changing experience, depending on how you looked at them.  For someone looking to make easy money, they never were able to fulfill their promises (after all, making money online isn’t a cakewalk).  However, for someone who needed a motivational kick in the pants to get their own online marketing started, it was just the jump start they needed.  Many people, such as myself, found their true calling after purchasing one of these eBooks- online marketing has never been the same.

Content?

The major flaw that these eBooks had was that the content within them, the very material that people had paid upwards of $50 for, was usually short and accessible freely elsewhere.  This resulted in a very dramatic shift in attitude by their customers: what was once an ignorant or hopeful client was now a dissatisfied, angry individual.  After all, paying $50 for a shell of an eBook can be a very frustrating experience.  Often, the authors themselves had written the book in a poor or inconsistent manner, resulting in a product that was both unprofessional and frustrating to read.  The result was a myriad of half-informed “affiliates” that would scour the internet, purchasing eBook after eBook, hoping to find something that would offer valuable information. In essence, an entirely new economy was created- one that was both lucrative and incestuous.

The Results

The massive success of these eBooks resulted in many people (the ones that were cashing in on the sales) proclaiming themselves to be online marketing “gurus” declaring their expertise and experience in the field. The reality is that web marketing is still in its infancy, and no one person could ever claim to have a complete grasp on everything- there’s just too much to know and too much to learn.  These guru’s all share a relatively similar client base: people that are looking for the easy way to make money online.  What these people don’t realize is that these eBook authors put hundreds of hours into their creation, but not on the actual product.  Instead, all of the time is dedicated to building and hyping the product, creating a website that is optimized for sales, as well as developing an extensive newsletter list that will provide multiple sales in the future. So the reality then sinks in: these eBook authors were not scam artists, but rather purveyors of a rather expensive lesson.  Think outside the box, and think outside the eBook.

Last summer I lost $2500 due to these ‘ebooks’.  Some of them are good, but most of them are scams. In my opinion! :)

After an hour on the phone with my psychic (yes i know, im weird, but its always been right and gives me hope), i learned about some new things that will take place in my life.  Most of it was good.  Some of it was bad, but with life, bad comes with good and ying comes with yang.  On that note, i connected with someone in a way that i have never connected with anyone before IN MY LIFE and i am looking forward to seeing where it brings me.. if anywhere.

Ok, enough rant, that was my post for the day, here is the photo :)   Click it to see full sized!

Painfully Beautiful

Last night was cool.  First mistake was drinking wine while recording.. my vocals were shot from a long exhausting weekend and i will be going back next week to do the final take.. i hope. The vocals in the video are just ‘test’ vocals so we have something more for the song and i sound like shit.. when this is mixed and mastered, it will be rocking! haha

As for the music, Joe is AMAZING, we added violin and piano and so much more. I cannot wait until this song is done so i can move on to the next song i am writing about an inspirational moment. The song is called Painfully Beautiful.

I don’t know where my path is going or where my summer will bring me but i got some renewed faith in everything that i stand for, want and need.

Check out last nights session… and i know my vocals suck, i’m sorry. But wait for the final product :) … ALSO, if anyone wants to hear the WHOLE DEMO audio mix from last night, email me for it, or IM me, i am not going to upload it,,, but it sounds pretty freakin awesome already!  Here is an mp3 CLIP.. Hope you like it Punching Bag Demo Clip   VIDEO AND LYRICS BELOW

PUNCHING BAG

suddenly your not a part of me

your the one who broke the bond

you’ll be fine you keep tellin me

looking back as your moving on

do you want my grief?  will you punish me?

should i make you black and blue too?

CHORUS

i berated you and hated you, i never underestimated you

your loveless blood is giving me life

now I’m broken down from breaking you

erasing what was beautiful

blacker than a starless night

YOUR losing paradise

Verse 2

tell the world all you want to

that you lied just to get inside

say you were blind and told what to do

those were fake tears that hit my eyes

dare say I’m beautiful.. dare say I’m wonderful

you never ever really loved me

BRIDGE

your telling me your my punching bag

when your playing poor me

if it hurts to hear this painful song

then I’m happy to be sorry
