For the past month I have been running ads on the new myspace PPC banner platform.  All I can say is WOW.  The conversions on myspace were through the roof and much better than facebook or anything else I have seen since I have been in this industry.

As it happened with facebook, now it has happened with myspace.  ANYBODY can still KILL myspace but they have gotten a little uptight with some of their rules.

I was promoting the new Acai Berry diet offer.  At first I tried using the awful stock banners provided by the advertisers.  Conversions were OK but they were not as good as they were until I made my own SINGLE banner.

I tried to think outside the box and come up with a banner that people would see and have no choice but to click. SO I made this banner below:

First I targeted the banner to woman 18+ who were into partying and video games.. good conversions but not good enough.

SO I switched my targeting to general woman. Every woman over 30+ who use myspace and boom. It went crazy. I made 4 times my invested money in advertising and alas, Myspace has tightened the TOS and I am not longer using the banner above, I made another one that is pretty awesome too.

I ran my diet offers on 4 different networks and did not notice much difference in conversion between the networks other than one of them taking WAY too long to load.. (I will not mention any names)

I also did some dating and other VERY random campaigns. All you need to do is think outside the box, be creative and dont worry about losing money while testing.

Everyone in this biz knows that you need to lose money to make money (unless you REALLY luck out).

Its been almost 2 months since Jon and I moved to St. Louis.  I have been adjusting and at first it was really hard for me.  I miss my family and my friends so much but every day things are getting better. Jon lived in Canada for years when he was in college and he had been through this before but I had not. When i moved to RI from Boston it was tough but this was REALLY tough.

A friend in the affiliate marketing community asked me 2 weeks ago for some motivation.  I said that Jon was what motivated me.  I dont think what I said was fair to my friend because not everybody meets their ‘Jon’ when they need to.

Jon is the best thing to ever happen to me. I have never loved somebody so much and never been so in love. Every thing about him is beautiful and I am blessed to have met him. I never thought it would happen to me but I always wished for it. My life has taken a turn because of Jon. In my eyes, there is nobody who is greater than he is.  He is without a doubt the best person I have ever met and I cant wait to spend the rest of my life being with him.

I have been writing a song that was inspired by Jon called ‘Silly’.  Stay tuned for it!

I havent been posting because Jon and I have been very busy!  4 more weeks and Ami is moving here, Jon and i are pretty happy about it.

Anyway, in a week or so, I will be posting about some of the work I have been doing.  I made 2 thousand dollars this weekend in this affiliate marketing business and will post some info about how.

For the past few weeks, I have been setting up landing pages for lots of new affiliate marketing campaigns.

Obviously, using WordPress is the smart thing to use when doing a landing page or a site. I have not tried this method with a landing page that is NOT made from wordpress.

If you have a wordpress landing page or blog and you want to get it indexed, I have found a way to do it that has it indexed in google within 24 hours for all of my sites and even 2 of them on Yahoo!

First, design your wordpress site.  Once it is pinged out after you make your first post, go to youtube, find a video related to an offer you are promoting, or just something funny and random that you can use.  Copy the URL of the video and go to www.Vixy.net and download the video from YouTube.

You will then need to go to TubeMogul.com and register an account with all of the video hosting sites that TubeMogul accommodates.  (You will only need to do this once).

How TubeMogul works is that they upload your video for you to all of the major video hosting sites. They do all of the work in 1 shot, pretty cool!

You upload your video and in the description box, you put the URL (including the http://) in the description box.

For me, this has caused the search engines to start scraping my wordpress site, thus having it indexed by the time i check the next day.

I hope it works for you, I do not see why it would not! Just a tip I wanted to throw in because I haven’t posted in awhile, been BUSY!
